We stayed at Strahan for a couple of days using it as a base as we travelled around.
From here we went over to Queenstown, as well as Cruising up Macquarie Harbour, and the Derwent River to Sarah Island, Lovely spot, and the road from here to Queenstown is bloody brilliant, the Corolla hire car certainly got a work out….

It’s a brilliant little kit.
When I’m travelling, my whole kit fits in a waist pack (think tank change up v2.0). I’ll have with me the X-T1 with 16-55 2.8, 50-140 2.8, 10-24 4 and 35 1.4, 4 spare batteries, SD cards etc, couple of ND filters, polariser, usual guff, all up weighs less than 5kg. I’ve been using the Joby SLR Gorillapod as my travel tripod and it also fits in the elastic pockets on the side of the bag – very liberating…
The only thing I miss from my previous kit is the long lenses especially the 300 2.8, but once I sell another few body parts I may get the new 100-400 Fuji.
Did you pull the trigger on the Sony?

No Sony… A) The Aussie dollar sucks so its crazy expensive. B) The lenses are big as heck, which defeats the whole mirrorless portability thing. Think I’ll wait for the XT-2 and borrow all your lenses!
