Drool Worthy

I popped in to say hi to my friends at BMW Darwin yesterday, mostly to drool over the M2, which Cal was kind enough to extend an offer for me to take for a test drive…That is one tough looking car..A bit rich for my pay packet, but certainly drool worthy!I wonder if they would…

A day with the “prophotonut”..

A few months ago I had the opportunity to spend a day with Damien Lovegrove and three other like-minded individuals to learn secrets from the master about Hollywood lighting. The day started out in the worst possible way – I was as crook as a dog and my guts was churning like a croc with…

Rebecca

Bec and I work together, and her being from the selfie generation was more than eager to help me practice/learn how to take a few portraits, I’m not sure if that makes her my muse or my guinea pig, but we did have a bit of fun and plan on getting together again for some…

Rome

We spent about 3 days in Rome, not nearly enough time to see it all but we managed to see quite a bit. Still going through all the images, but here’s a couple of the icons.

From Strahan

We stayed at Strahan for a couple of days using it as a base as we travelled around. From here we went over to Queenstown, as well as Cruising up Macquarie Harbour, and the Derwent River to Sarah Island, Lovely spot, and the road from here to Queenstown is bloody brilliant, the Corolla hire car…

Table Cape & The Tarkine

Moving on from Cradle Mountain, we just had to witness the spectacular display of tulips at the Table Cape Tulip Farm, followed by a leisurely drive through the Tarkine Wilderness area, where I promise we didn’t get lost once 😉 We stopped to get some cheese from one of the locals and had a bbq…

Cradle Mountain

Here are some images taken around Cradle Mountain NP and the Lodge from our recent trip a few months ago. I’ve been so preoccupied with editing and creating a book as a memento of the holiday, that I forgot to post anything for family and friends to see. I’ll post a few more pic’s in…

Bay of fires, St Helens, Tasmania

The Bay of Fires is a region of white beaches, blue water and orange-hued granite (the color of which is actually produced by a lichen). The northern section of the bay is part of Mount William National Park; the southern end is a conservation area. So says the oracle – Wikipedia … What I can tell…

Tassie..

I’m currently in Tasmania which is pretty chilly for a tropical bloke like me, and it’s in between seasons so probably not the best for dramatic landscape photography, I have however managed a couple of respectable shots, and will post some more once home and have access to more than my iPad. In the meantime…

The Equalizer..

The last Image (of three) taken at the same time as the previous two posts. Probably my least favourite but still good processing practice.
